OMG!! It's actually an really old art...

Sometime around mid-2012 I made a couple of matching hairblets for my DD for her dresses. I had simply rolled up multi-colored ribbons and attached them to plain black hairbelts to match them to the dress colors.
I had no idea that it is some kind of artform. One of my sister-in-law pointed this out to me, and that got me hooked on.
After googling, among different forms of this art - Feligree- I am now hooked on to paper quilling with strips.....
